Recommendations

You gain 5 Loops for writing a recommendation - but only once the recommendation has been accepted.

You might write a recommendation for a few different reasons. You can write a recommendation to endorse a person for their skills or services.

If someone has been helpful, offered you a service you needed, or gave you an opportunity, you might consider writing them a recommendation as an extra thank you, and to give a little back.

First, the person you recommended has to accept your recommendation. Once that's done, your recommendation will appear on your Newsfeed with a green tag.

Also, the person you recommended can share the recommendation you've written with their Circle, and it will appear in their profile in the 'Recommendation' tab.

You will get an email, and a notification. You can view the recommendation in the Recommendation tab of the Profile page.

Recommendations, like the people they're written for, are worth their weight in gold. That's why Reloop limits the number of recommendations you can write to 3 per month. And you have to wait 30 days before you can write a recommendation for the same person.

You must accept a recommendation written about you before anyone else is able to see it. You can do this in the Recommendation tab on your profile page.

You can also hide or delete any recommendation that has been written about you.

Recommendations that have been written about you can be found on your profile page in the Recommendations tab - pending section.

Once you 'Accept' your recommendation, other Reloopers will see it on your profile. It will also appear on your newsfeed. From there you can share it with your Circle.
